Easiest Baked Mac And Cheese

Easiest Baked Mac And Cheese

Cristi AulbachHartford City, IN

My very best friend Maudlyn gave me this easy recipe for baked mac & cheese.
You just mix all the ingredients together, pop it in the oven and forget
about it until it's done. It is so creamy and good. You'll never make mac &
cheese any other way again!

2-1/4 c. water

2 c. elbow macaroni, uncooked

1/4 c. butter

16-oz. container sour cream

2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

In a saucepan over high heat, bring water to a boil. In a greased 13"x9"
baking pan, stir together uncooked macaroni, butter, sour cream and cheese.
Pour boiling water over top; stir to combine. Bake, uncovered, at 375
degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
