Diane's Barbecued Spareribs or Sloppy Joes

2 pounds Country-style ribs

2 thirds cup ketchup

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 tablespoon mustard

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 third cup water.

Salt and pepper ribs, and brown them thoroughly in 2 tablespoons olive oil in a Dutch oven. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over ribs. If you like a lot of sauce, you can double the recipe for the sauce.

You can also brown a pound of hamburger, drain it, and add this same sauce to make sloppy Joes.
