Cream Gravy
1/2 stick butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
Salt and pepper to taste
In skillet, melt butter. Whisk in flour. Cook, whisking constantly, for 2 to 3 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Cook for 2 minutes, whisking constantly, until thickened. Remove from heat. Season with salt and pepper.
