Christmas Trifle

this is really yummy
1 box gingerbread mix, made to package directions and crumbled 1 12 oz.
Cool Whip - or more, if desired 3 C milk
4 pkg. (small) instant butterscotch pudding 1/4 t allspice
1/4 t ginger
1/4 t nutmeg
1 t cinnamon
1 16 oz. can pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
After crumbling gingerbread, set aside.
Mix pudding, milk, spices and pumpkin until well blended.
In trifle bowl or decorative glass bowl LAYER - Gingerbread
Pudding Mix
Cool Whip
Repeat and top with dollops of Cool Whip Chill until serving - several
hours.
Looks festive with maraschino cherries with stems on top
