Christmas Dump Cake

We made this for a gathering yesterday. Serve it with either whipped cream or piping hot with a scoop of Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla or Vanilla Bean ice cream.

1 cn whole cranberry sauce (16 ounce)
1 cn apple pie filling(21 ounce)
1 ea box yellow cake mix (18.25 ounce)
½ c (1 stick) butter
½ c chopped almonds, walnuts or granola

Preheat oven to 325°F. Dump cranberries into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Dump apple pie filling into pan. Spread mixture evenly and "sift" dry cake mix on top. Cut up butter and dot top of cake. Sprinkle nuts or granola on top of cake. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes. Enjoy.
