Chocolate Chip Cookies From Tammy

Chocolate Chip Cookies From Tammy

Ingredients:

1 cup softened butter or margarine, (I use butter)

3/4 cups granulated sugar,

3/4 cups packed brown sugar,

1 teaspoon vanilla,

2 eggs beaten,

2 and 3/4 cups of all purpose flour,

1 teaspoon baking soda,

1 teaspoon Salt,

2 cups of chocolate chips.

instructions:

Because I have one of those kitchen aid type mixers, I must confess that I
place all ingredients except for the flour and chips in the bowl and allow
the mixer to beat or cream them together. However, here are the correct
instructions.

1. In a small bowl, combine flour, salt and baking soda. Set aside.

2. In a large mixing bowl cream together the butter, sugars, eggs and
vanilla.

3. Add dry ingredients and mix well.

4. Stir in chips.

5. Bake at 350 degrees for 9 to 11 minutes.

I bake them for 10 minutes then leave them on the cookie sheet for about 5
minutes longer before removing them to cool completely.

6. You need to grease the baking sheets.

Enjoy,
