Brown Cow Ice Cream Soda ( with variations )
1/4 C. chocolate syrup
3 scoops vanilla ice cream
Chilled root beer
1 large spoonful whipped cream
Pour syrup into a tall soda glass, add 1 scoop of the ice cream, and
stir until smooth.
Pour a steady stream of root beer slowly into the glass until it is half
full.
Add the remaining 2 scoops of ice cream, then finish filling the glass
with root beer.
Top with the whipped cream.
To make a black and white soda, use 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream and 1
scoop of chocolate.
Substitute seltzer for the root beer.
To make a Stars-and-Stripes Soda, use Strawberry syrup instead of
chocolate, and 2 scoops of strawberry ice cream and 1 scoop of vanilla.
Substitute seltzer for the root beer.
