This movie absolutely terrified me when I was young and gave me a lifelong fear of werewolf movies. It was actually the original cover art of the UK/European release that scared me long before I ever saw the movie.

This movie is wonderful though, it features some incredible practical effects, including the greatest creature transformation put to screen in my opinion.

Darkly comic in tone with more than splash of gore, it’s a great watch.
