Wrapped Water Chestnuts

Crunchy with just the right amount of sweetness.


1 lb. bacon, slices halved

16-oz. can whole water chestnuts

1/2 c. mayonnaise

1/2 c. brown sugar, packed

1/4 c. chili sauce

Cook bacon until almost crisp; drain. Wrap one slice around each water chestnut; secure with a toothpick. Arrange in an ungreased 9"x9" baking pan; set aside. Mix remaining ingredients together; pour over water chestnuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Makes about 2 dozen.
