4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 c. margarine
1 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. orange extract
6 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
3 1/2 oz. can flaked coconut
3 eggs

Sift first 3 together. Cream margarine until fluffy. Gradually beat in next 2. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix well. divide dough into 2 parts. Add orange extract and chocolate chips to 1 and coconut to other. Drop by rounded tsp. about 2" apart on greased sheet. Bake at 350F 12-15 min. Cool on racks.
