SNOW DROP COOKIES
1 c. butter
4 tbsp. confectioners' sugar
2 c. cake flour, sifted
1 c. walnuts, chopped
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cold water
Beat butter until creamy, then add confectioners' sugar. Blend. Add cake
flour, walnuts, vanilla and cold water. Chill until firm enough to shape
with
fingers. Form into small date-shaped balls and bake in 400°F oven on
ungreased cookie sheet, 10-12 minutes. Roll immediately in confectioners'
sugar.
Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
