Respect and Empathy: Treat all members of the forum with kindness, empathy, and respect. Remember that people’s experiences with PTSD are different and everyone is at their own stage.
  • Confidentiality: Show respect for the privacy of others in this community. What comes out on this platform must remain confidential. Do not share personal details outside the site.
  • Trigger Warnings: Mention trigger warnings when dealing with content that could be distressing to some people. Avoid sharing such contents especially when aware that it may offend someone.
  • No Judgment Zone: This is a non-judgmental platform. Stay supportive of whoever has shared anything irrespective of where they might be with regards to recovery journey.
  • Positive Language: Always make use of positive words or phrases whenever you talk, write or interact with others on this platform. No need for bad words or hurtful messages, as these could affect negatively one’s mental health condition.
  • No Trolling or Harassment: There is no room for trolling, harassment, bullying or any sort of violence against another person online here as it will only lead to your banishment from the group.
