Melon Granita
18 ounces melon, rind and seeds removed
5-1/2 ounces champagne or white wine (or orange juice)
Sugar to taste
Slice melon and puree in a blender. Add sugar and mix well until sugar is
dissolved. Pour in champagne or wine (or orange juice if preferred). Stir to
combine. Transfer to a freezable container and freeze for several hours.
During the freezing process, remove from freezer and stir a few times.
