Marshmallow-Banana Pops, From Amanda



(Makes 20 to 24 Treats)

40 to 48 large Marshmallows

20 to 24 large Banana Slices

20 to 24 Wooden Sticks

12-oz. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

1 1/2 Tbs. Vegetable Oil

1 cup Walnuts or Pecans, ground

1 cup Flaked Coconut

3/4 cup Colored or Chocolate Sprinkles

Skewer one marshmallow, followed by a banana slice, followed by another

marshmallow on each of the wooden sticks.

Place the chocolate chips and vegetable oil in a sallow, microwave-safe

bowl. Heat until melted, stir until smooth.

Roll the marshmallows in the melted chocolate, turning to coat

completely. All the excess chocolate to drip off. (You may re-warm the

chocolate if it gets too firm.)

Before the chocolate is firm, roll or sprinkle the treat with the ground

walnuts or pecans, flakes coconut, or sprinkles.

Place on a baking sheet that has been lined with wax paper, Refrigerate

until firm, usually about 30-minutes. Enjoy.
