1/4 cup finely chopped onions

1/4 tsp. Garlic powder

2 Tbsp. butter or margarine

2 cup fine chopped cooked Chicken

1-1/2 cup cheddar cheese

1 (8 oz) Package cream cheese

1/4 cup sliced almonds

1/2 cup sour cream

1 tsp. chicken base or bouillon granules



Cook onion in margarine/butter until tender. Stir in 1 cup cheddar cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, chicken seasoning and garlic powder. Stir until smooth; add chicken and 2 tablespoons almonds. Mix well. Spoon mixture into 9 by 9 inch baking dish or 9 inch pie pan. Bake in preheated 350 oven for 20 minutes. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese and almonds on top.

Bake 5 minutes longer. Serve with crackers or Fritos.
