Favorite Cherry Dessert Bread

Servings: 2 loaves

Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp kosher salt

2 cups granulated sugar

1 1/4 cups canola oil

4 eggs

4 cups dark, sweet cherries pitted and roughly chopped

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350?. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans and set aside. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk together the sugar, oil, and eggs until well combined. Pour wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined. Add chopped cherries and stir until evenly mixed. Add batter to prepared loaf pans and bake for about an hour or until toothpick inserted into bread comes out clean. Let sit until cool before removing from pans, about 30 minutes.
