DIANNE'S THANKSGIVING CAKE
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 c. Wesson oil
1 c. buttermilk
3 eggs
1 c. strawberry preserves
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Mix together all ingredients except preserves and pecans. Cream sugar, spices, and Wesson oil and eggs. Add flour, salt, and soda alternately with buttermilk.
Mix well. Add preserves and nuts. Bake in greased and floured bundt pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until cake tests done. Cook cake upright for 20-25
minutes before turning over on cake plate. Enjoy.
