Deviled Green Goblin Eggs
Betty Crocker® Potato Buds® mashed potatoes mixture sandwiched between egg halves for deviled Halloween appetizers.Ingredients
12unpeeled hard-cooked eggs

cups hot water

bottle (0.3 oz) yellow liquid food color

bottle (0.3 oz-size) blue liquid food color
1/2
bottle (0.3 oz-size) green liquid food color

tablespoons cider vinegar
1/2
cup Betty Crocker™ Potato Buds™ mashed potatoes (dry)
1/2
cup mayonnaise
1/2
cup sour cream
1/4
cup chopped fresh chives
1/2
teaspoon salt
1/2
teaspoon seasoned pepper blend
Directions
1. Gently tap each egg on countertop until shell is finely crackled. In large bowl, stir together hot water, food colors and vinegar. Add eggs; let stand 1 hour.2. Remove eggs from water and drain on paper towels. Peel eggs to reveal pattern on whites. Cut eggs lengthwise in half; slip out yolks into medium bowl. Mash yolks. Add potatoes (dry), mayonnaise, sour cream, chives, salt and seasoned pepper blend; mix well.
3. Spoon egg yolk mixture evenly into egg white halves. Gently press 2 halves together. Repeat with remaining halves. Serve immediately or refrigerate until serving time.
