Damsel's Mom's Cheese Balls

Damsel's Mom's Cheese Balls

rec.food.cooking/Damsel in dis Dress/1997

Recipe by: Damsel's Mom

I always chill the "dough" before forming it into balls. My mom's

recipe also calls for butter or margarine, which firms up under

refrigeration and makes handling a little easier. Here's my family's

favorite:

1 cup butter or margarine; softened

2 tablespoon cream (heavy)

2 jars Kraft Olive-Pimiento cheese spread

1 jar Kraft American cheese spread

1 jar Kraft Bleu cheese spread

1 jar Kraft Olde English cheese spread

6 oz cream cheese; softened

1 dash Tabasco sauce

1 to taste garlic powder

Blend all together and let set in refrigerator to harden so it can be

handled. Dusting your hands with a little flour is also very helpful.

Divide into 3 or 4 portions and roll balls in ground pecans.

To store, wrap tightly with plastic wrap.
