CHOCOLATE SNOWBALLS

CHOCOLATE SNOWBALLS

2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 sticks butter
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. milk
Powdered sugar


Sift dry ingredients. Cream butter and brown sugar. Beat in melted
chocolate, egg, vanilla and milk. Sift in dry ingredients; blend well. Chill
overnight. Roll dough into small balls and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 8
minutes. Remove carefully and let cool; then roll in powdered sugar until
each cookie has a coat of sugar. Makes 5 dozen cookies.
