Cherry Red Pops

Cherry Red Pops

MAKES TEN 1/3-CUP [80-ML]

21/2 cups [600 ml] Cherry Red (see page 42)

1 teaspoon vodka (optional)

1 cup [125 g] pitted sweet cherries, chopped

In a pitcher, stir together the Cherry Red and vodka (if using). Divide the liquid evenly between the ice-pop molds, leaving about 1/2 inch [12 mm] of space at the top of each mold. Freeze until slushy, about 2 hours. Divide the cherries between the ice-pop molds, using an ice-pop stick to distribute the pieces throughout

each pop. Insert the ice-pop sticks and freeze until solid, at least 6 hours and preferably overnight. To remove the ice pops, dip the molds briefly in warm water.
