BRANDIED CHICKEN ANISE

BRANDIED CHICKEN ANISE

1 clove garlic, minced
1 sm. onion, chopped
3 tbsp. melted butter
4 whole chicken breasts
Salt to taste
1 chicken bouillon
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. brandy
1/4 tsp. anise seed

Saute garlic and onions in butter in heavy skillet until transparent. Remove from skillet and brown chicken breasts in the butter. When chicken is brown on all sides, return garlic and onion to skillet. Add salt, bouillon cube, water, brandy and anise seed. Cover skillet and cook over low heat until chicken is tender, about 45 minutes. Yield: 4 servings.
