For non-emergency support, consider reaching out to organizations like Samaritans at 116 123. In the USA, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is available at 1-800-273-TALK (1-800-273-8255). For support in Australia, contact Lifeline at 13 11 14 or Beyond Blue at 1300 22 4636. Your well-being is our priority, and seeking professional help is a crucial step towards your mental health journey.

Hi all,

Today, April 7th, 2025, in conjunction with many other forums around the internet, and led by ForumPromotion.net are launching Global Forum Day. An attempt to create a day of celebration each and every year where we acknowledge and celebrate forums for all that they give us. The idea is that every April 7th moving forward will be a day to acknowledge that forums are a unique and wonderful platform for interaction and communication. Diverse and unique in their own right, they have given us a consistent place to hold in-depth and meaningful debates that places like social media just can't facilitate typically.

Forums have been a great form of communication for decades, with my own personal experience starting in 1995 and continuing on since then. They've changed a great deal, evolved with the times, but still maintained that great, communicative, always-available standard of communication that we know and love. Free from the "in the moment" trend-chasing that social media is known for. So join us in celebrating forums this and every April 7th on Global Forum Day. The platforms we know and love that allow us to enjoy these great conversations with one another. Help us Acknowledge the Threads That Bind Us.
