Based on the novel by Stephen King, this is a competent movie adaption. The highlight here is Thomas Jane who turns out easily his best performance. The special effects are effective and are CGI but the budget is high enough to where they look good. The supporting cast do a good enough job to help the story along. There are some tense moments to be had and the pay off at the end is worth the 2 hour plus runtime. Worth a watch.
