I absolutely hate them.

I have spent almost all day cleaning up the forum. Must have been about 60 trying to register just to spam.
I have better things to do than to catch the spammers.

When I was on a now deleted gothic site there were a load of people who spammed the site. Unfortunately, even when they got caught and deleted from the site, they just returned under a new identity.

[mention]boro_boy[/mention] installed an anti-spam extension and that seems to have worked so far

I'm with you on that one! I like to think I'm making friends on these forums not just a 'member'.
