I always wash by hand and never had a dishwasher.

Sold my dishwasher some years back and replaced it with a bank of drawers and never looked back. I just hand wash the dishes every evening after dinner. Only takes ten minutes or so.

There is much to be said for the personal touch.

Although, I've had a few Shack Jobs in my day who weren't worth a damn at dish washing. Never figured out if that was intentional though.

Exactly. Lots of washing up liquid is the way to wash dishes. Thinking about it if you use a dishwasher then you would wash them put them in the dishwater turn the machine on then wait for them to dry then put them away Lol
 
I use a dish washer. We would be forever washing pots if we didnt. We dont have to wash ours before hand either. Maybe prince if they are particularly dirty, but that is about it.
 
I wash by hand. Never used a dishwasher nor cared to. Plus, you need a full load. If there's a bowl, spoon, it gets washed right away.
