30 ounce bag frozen hash brown potatoes
2 cups sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
4 Tbsp melted butter
2 cups shredded cheddar
1/2 medium onion, diced
salt and pepper to taste

Method/Steps
Set oven to 350 F.
Mix sour cream, soup, butter and seasoning.
Stir in potatoes and cheese, mix well.
Pour into greased 13x9 inch baking dish.
Stir corn flakes into melted butter.
Spread over potatoes.
Bake at 350 F for 60 minutes.
* I like to stir in cubed ham instead of having sliced ham on the side.
* I skip the crunchy topping
